sprequinox: sorrow and love mingling ahead these dark days

APRIL is the cruellest month, breeding
Lilacs out of the dead land, mixing
 Memory and desire, stirring
 Dull roots with spring rain.
 Winter kept us warm, covering
 Earth in forgetful snow, feeding
A little life with dried tubers.
Summer surprised us, coming over the Starnbergersee
With a shower of rain; we stopped in the colonnade,
And went on in sunlight, into the Hofgarten,
And drank coffee, and talked for an hour.

// from T.S. Eliot, "The Wasteland"

heavy eyelids, heavy heart. heavy news, heavy knowing.
how do you hold it all in Your heart??
 reacquainting with Your HURRICANE face.

after grandpa's three days... and his hospitalization since...
how could you let him go hungry? how could you let her go ill?
now he wastes away...

oh, he was not supposed to go this way.

Lord oh Lord have mercy on us.
